Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service and support Packaging and Automation customers with extensive travel to client sites, including remote support by phone.

Responsibilities include coordinating installations, startup, operator training, maintenance visits, and documenting service work. Requires a high school diploma or GED and technical experience; preferred is an associate degree with 3–5 years in a related field.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and schematics.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and passport or ability to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and support Packaging and Automation equipment.
• Coordinate equipment installations and startup with customers.
• Provide phone and onsite support, and perform preventative maintenance visits.
• Train operators and maintenance personnel on equipment usage and safety.
• Prepare service reports and document follow-up actions.
• Assist in creating training materials and machinery documentation.
