Job summary

HIROTEC America is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team. The role involves travel to customer facilities for tech support and installation supervision, with responsibility for coordinating manpower, supervising service personnel, and delivering field reports.

Strong electrical/mechanical aptitude and customer service skills are essential. Travel is required domestically and internationally; the position supports invoicing, parts provisioning, and site budget monitoring.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of related experience in Assembly Tooling.
• Knowledge of Hemming/Stamping.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand Body-in-White system processes.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple customer facilities for tech support and installation supervision.
• Request required manpower from Manufacturing and supervise service personnel in the field for all trades.
• Responsible for the content of field service and expense reports and obtain customer approval at sites.
• Customer contact and liaison at installation sites.
• Assist in initiating invoicing for all billable hours.
• Assist in providing spare parts to customers.
• Maintain weekly roll up reports and monitor budget allotments at sites.
• Field site inspections.
