Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring a Field Service Technician for a remote role based in Seattle, WA. You will install and service postage meters and shipping hardware at client sites. The role emphasizes problem solving, client communication, and revenue-minded service delivery.

You must have mechanical experience, a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift 55 lbs. Training is provided; Monday–Friday with potential overtime and a company vehicle or paid mileage.

Qualifications

• Experience turning a wrench to repair machinery.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients onsite.
• Willingness to upsell when appropriate to help clients and revenue.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel to sites.
• Comfort with lifting up to 55 lbs and working Monday–Friday with overtime if needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and upgrade postage meters and related hardware at client sites.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize repeat calls.
• Review job aids and train clients on equipment use.
• Keep clients informed on progress during maintenance or outages.
• Grow skills to work on advanced products and copiers.
• Contribute to revenue through leads, supplies, and services.
