Job summary

Atlas Copco Compressors LLC -North America Customer Center is seeking a Service Technician for a fully remote role with travel within a 1–2 hour radius of San Antonio, TX. You will service air compressors, dryers, and related equipment, with on-site visits and remote support responsibilities.

You must have 1–2 years of technical experience, a High School Diploma, and a valid driver’s license. EPA certification is a plus; training and a company vehicle are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of technical experience in mechanical, maintenance or electrical field.
• Experience with maintenance, overhaul and repair of industrial equipment including electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics preferred.
• HVAC experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service and troubleshoot/repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers and low-pressure blowers.
• Set, install and pipe compressor systems.
• Learn advanced topics including VSDs, refrigeration, industrial networks, remote monitoring and air audits.
• Pressure wash and clean equipment pads and surroundings.
• Communicate options for repairs and upgrades to customers and Service Manager.
• Complete service reports, start-up and warranty forms, oil sample forms and parts return documents.
