Job summary

Atlas Copco Airpower N.V. is seeking a Service Technician to support customers by servicing air compressors, dryers, and related equipment.

You will install and pipe systems, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot to ensure high-quality uptime. Based in a fully remote role covering assigned territory, you will join a rotating on-call schedule and travel as needed, reporting to the Service Manager.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of technical experience in mechanical, maintenance, or electrical fields.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Customer-focused with ownership of customer needs.
• Proficient with computers to complete work orders and training.
• Willingness to travel for paid training (e.g., Rock Hill, SC).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, and low pressure blowers.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems and related equipment.
• Absorb higher learning in VSDs, refrigeration, industrial networks, and remote monitoring.
• Display safety procedures and correct PPE usage in daily work.
• Complete service reports, startup forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, and parts return documents.
• Attend training at Air Academy and train with Senior Service Technicians.
• Communicate with customer and Service Manager regarding services performed and options for repairs or upgrades.
• Participate in rotating 24/7 on-call with travel to customer locations, including overnight travel.
