Job summary

Imaging Business Machines, LLC. is seeking a Field Service Technician to service ImageTrac scanners in Washington, DC or Virginia.

You will maintain mechanical/electronic knowledge, provide on-site technical support, and respond to customer needs within contracted hours. The role requires an associate degree in electronics or mechanical engineering (or equivalent experience) and involves after-hours dispatches, asset management, and opportunities to identify sales or service opportunities for

Qualifications

• Associates level degree in electronics and/or mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains thorough knowledge of ImageTrac mechanical and electronic functions.
• Provides effective, timely and competent technical support to customers.
• Arrives at customer sites within contracted response times.
• Manages company assets (tools, documentation, software, IP) responsibly.
• Strives for the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times.
• Maintains knowledge of SoftTrac, Docnetics and IBML software.
• Follows the call flow for all incident activity.
• Ensures timely return of RMA parts per procedures.
• Tests all work to meet IBML quality standards.
• Meets all scheduled deadlines.
• Available for dispatches during and after normal business hours as contracts dictate.
• Analyzes customer processes for opportunities for IBML software sales or services.
• Maintains knowledge of PCs associated with all IBML equipment.
• May be required to submit to criminal/background checks.
