Job summary

Imaging Business Machines, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to maintain in-depth knowledge of ImageTrac hardware and software. You will provide timely support to customers and respond to dispatches within contracted hours, including after-hours as needed.

Responsibilities include on-site service at customer locations, asset management, ensuring quality workmanship, and identifying opportunities for IBML software sales or services.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electronics and/or mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Maintains thorough knowledge of all ImageTrac mechanical and electronic functions.
• Provides effective, timely, and competent technical support to customers.
• Be available for dispatches within contracted hours and after-hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintains thorough knowledge of all ImageTrac mechanical and electronic functions.
• Provides effective, timely and competent technical support to customers.
• Arrives at customer sites within the contracted response times.
• Ensures proper management of company assets (tools, documentation, software, IP).
• Strives to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintains knowledge of SoftTrac, Docnetics and IBML software.
• Follows call flow for incident activity.
• Returns RMA parts timely per procedures.
• Tests all work to IBML quality standards.
• Meets all scheduled deadlines.
• Available for dispatches during and after normal business hours.
• Analyzes customer processes for IBML sales opportunities.
• Maintains knowledge of PCs for IBML equipment.
