Job summary

Imaging Business Machines, LLC. is seeking a Field Service Technician to support and service ImageTrac scanners in Sioux Falls, SD. The role requires maintaining knowledge of mechanical and electronic functions, providing timely technical support, and meeting contracted response times.

You will travel to customer sites, manage assets, and ensure high customer satisfaction while following company procedures and quality standards. Background checks may be required for government contracts.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electronics and/or mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of ImageTrac mechanical and electronic functions.
• Provides effective, timely technical support to customers.
• Arrives at customer sites within contracted response times.
• Manages company assets (tools, documentation, software, IP).
• Strives to maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Maintains knowledge of SoftTrac, Docnetics and IBML software.
• Follows call flow for incident activity.
• Returns RMA parts promptly per procedures.
• Tests all work to meet IBML quality standards.
• Meets all scheduled deadlines.
• Available for dispatches during/after hours as contracts dictate.
• Analyzes customer processes for IBML software sales opportunities.
• Maintains knowledge of PCs used with IBML equipment.
• May be required to undergo criminal/background checks.
