Job summary

Legrand is seeking a Service Technician II to join the Starline Team. This is a remote role with frequent domestic travel and occasional international travel.

You will perform service work on Starline products at customer sites, diagnose on-site issues, program meters, and prepare startup and commissioning reports. The role includes training and mentoring technicians while maintaining professional customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and precise in field servicing.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customers.
• Service driven, helpful, and proactive on-site.
• Excellent problem solving for on-site product issues.
• Basic knowledge of network protocols (Telnet, SNMP, BACnet).
• Proactive about safety and professional appearance.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Execute system startup checklists at customer sites.
• Program meters at the customer site.
• Diagnose and repair on-site issues as needed.
• Train and mentor other technicians on-site.
• Document startup and commissioning reports with templates.
• Interact professionally with customers and contractors.
