Qualifications

• Must be willing to travel roughly two weeks per month.
• Electrical technician with min. 2 years field service experience or BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Min. 2 years of troubleshooting and remote support for international customers with high expectations.
• Experience with UPS, rectifiers, inverters, DC-DC converters or other power conversion equipment.
• Proficient with test tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, load banks.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites in the US, Mexico, and Canada (about two weeks per month) for commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, training, and battery tests.
• Verify correct installation, perform functional tests, troubleshoot and repair or upgrade systems.
• Write detailed reports describing work performed for each trip, including timesheets.
• Perform customer training and create training materials.
• Provide customer support on-site, via phone or email.
• Coordinate service trips: book flights, hotels, rental cars, and report expenses per policy.
• Continuously increase knowledge of existing and new products.
• Complete work safely.
