Job summary

Alma Lasers is seeking a Field Service Technician II to support customers across the East Coast, with occasional Central U.S. travel. This remote role requires regular on-site service at medical facilities while maintaining strong phone and remote support to ensure equipment reliability.

You will diagnose, repair, and calibrate Alma lasers equipment, read schematics, document repairs, and mentor peers. Travel can be 75–90% based on customer needs, with priority on timely issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in electrical or electronic repair is required or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of Field Service experience in relevant industry.
• Experience with component level repair is preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning medical instruments or equipment.
• Read diagrams and schematics to perform full board swaps as needed.
• Test machines after repair to ensure proper functionality.
• Maintain and complete all repair documentation paperwork.
• Provide Level 2 support via phone to customers and internal employees.
