Job summary

Alma Lasers is seeking a Field Service Technician II to travel across the Central US and provide repairs to Alma equipment, with occasional Level 2 support by phone. The role focuses on the Central US with travel to coasts as needed.

Ideal candidates live in or near Texas, have 4+ years field service experience, and are comfortable working on medical-aesthetic devices. Overtime eligibility and a strong safety mindset are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electrical or electronic repair or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of Field Service experience; repair experience at component level preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning medical instruments or equipment.
• Repair equipment after diagnosis.
• Read diagrams and schematics to perform full board swaps as needed.
• Test machines after repair to ensure proper functionality.
• Maintain and complete all repair documentation paperwork.
• Provide Level 2 support via phone to customers and internal employees.
• Abide by safety and health policies.
• Perform device calibration using specified test equipment.
• Mentor and aid other field service personnel.
• Develop troubleshooting documents for Client Relations team.
