Job summary

Diebold Nixdorf, Incorporated is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, diagnose, and maintain hardware and software at customer sites. You will perform scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs while ensuring customer satisfaction and proper operation of products.

You will train customers on installed systems, complete required paperwork, and participate in ongoing training to meet KPIs. A valid driver’s license and basic tool skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Education or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant Field Services experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Driver's license and driving record that satisfies DN's fleet requirements.
• Basic understanding of power tools and mechanical aptitude.
• Understand how to use a voltmeter and read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Installs, debugs and maintains product and component hardware and software on customer premises.
• Provides scheduled inspection, cleaning and other services and performs minor product repairs within an assigned territory.
• Inspects products for correct operation and resolves noted issues and escalates according to established procedure.
• Schedules services, completes all required paperwork and works with customers to ensure satisfaction with service delivery and understanding of product functionality.
• Trains customers on usage and operation of installed products.
• Participates in regular training and KPI initiatives.
