JBT Marel seeks a Field Service Technician to perform customer-site installations, startups, training, and ongoing maintenance. You will assist Engineering and Sales, document service work, and provide post-install support on equipment across the North American region.

The role requires travel 80–85% of time, a strong background with PLCs and electro-pneumatic systems, and a high school diploma with two years of tech schooling or equivalent. Remote work with supporting on-site visits offered.

Formación

• Must have working knowledge of PLCs, control wiring, electro-pneumatic systems, and PID controllers.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems.
• Experience with computer-based programs used in industrial control.
• Two years in the field and at least two years of tech school or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect installations and supervise startup/upgrade activities.
• Diagnose field service calls and perform repairs, including parts replacements.
• Complete preventative maintenance and site management objectives; submit PSR reports.
