Job summary
JBT Marel is seeking a Field Service Engineer to serve primarily in the Midwestern United States. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of JBT Marel equipment, with mentoring of junior technicians as needed.
You will train customers, report progress, and identify service opportunities while maintaining strong customer relations. Candidates should have an engineering degree (Mechanical/Electrical/Software) or similar, plus technical training on processing
Qualifications
- Degree and technical training required for field service work.
- Excellent English communication and reporting skills.
- Experience with JBT Marel equipment or similar is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain JBT Marel machinery at customer facilities.
- Provide customer training and general support onsite or remotely as needed.
- Prepare and report on visits to update customer support coordinators and field service admins.
- Identify sales and service opportunities and update Installed Base information.
- Process hours and expenses; provide technical reporting and updates to stakeholders.
