Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Customer Support Technician to serve as the face of cutting-edge mining equipment across Western North America. This role blends field service, troubleshooting, and customer engagement, with remote work from a home office when not traveling.

The position requires travel up to 50% across the region, including air travel, and preparation to meet mine-site access requirements. A strong technical background and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level qualification in Crane Technology, Diesel Mechanics, Electrical, or similar trade.
• Ter tiary qualification in Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in the hard rock mining industry (1+ year).
• Established network within the North American mining sector.

Responsibilities

• Commission & Maintain: Install, service, and monitor specialized mining equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose issues, perform repairs, and conduct fault-finding to keep operations running smoothly.
• Train & Educate: Deliver expert training to mine site personnel on the safe and efficient use of our technology.
• Inspect & Prevent: Carry out NDT to detect and address potential failures before they happen.
• Collaborate & Support Sales: Work with the Customer Support Manager to recommend spare parts, assist in sales follow-ups, and ensure timely order completion.
• Report & Communicate: Capture customer feedback, complete service documentation, and maintain accurate timesheets.
