Job summary

Chart Industries is seeking a Project Manager - Field Service to oversee field-based projects from concept through commissioning, with a strong emphasis on safety, schedule, and budget. This remote role supports customers across the United States and requires coordinating field service technicians on-site locations.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage supplier and contract requirements, and ensure seamless communication with clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher or 8 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years project management experience, in a construction environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with rapid prioritization.
• Management level communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Excellent computer skills including MS Office, MS Project, etc.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to meet schedule and budget.
• Lead project team through schedule and deliverables.
• Track project costs daily and reconcile at end of project.
• Coordinate with finance on accounts payable, receivable, and invoicing.
• Coordinate with legal regarding contract terms and conditions.
• Review customer specifications and contract requirements.
• Manage customer and internal documentation.
• Coordinate material and purchasing requirements and approve vendor selections.
• Main customer and internal interface for projects.
• Coordinate Field Service Technicians’ deployment to jobsites and meeting customer needs/expectations.
