Job summary

Chart Industries is seeking a skilled field service professional to provide technical support during repair or installation at customer sites, primarily across North America with up to 80% travel. The role requires 5+ years in millwright/maintenance/engineering or field service, strong customer relationships, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant technical background (millwright, maintenance, engineering, or field service).
• Solid understanding of product/service offerings and customer base.
• Ability to build strong relationships with customers and Sales Reps.
• Proactive, ethical and high integrity.
• Proficient with MS Office and internet navigation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience servicing highly engineered equipment; some technical schooling.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support during repair or installation at customers' sites.
• Ensure safety practices and report incidents, aiming for zero lost time.
• Improve responsiveness by making sales calls and providing solutions to customers.
• Submit reports on time for accurate invoicing and follow-up.
• Suggest process improvements to speed up customer response time and data accuracy.
• Maintain vibration analysis and laser alignment proficiencies.
