Job summary

Chart Industries is seeking a Project Procurement Manager to own and coordinate cross-functional procurement activities for complex projects. You will lead teams, monitor costs, and ensure on-time delivery while interfacing with finance, legal, and customers.

The role requires at least an Associates degree or 8 years of relevant experience, plus 3+ years in project management in construction, with strong communication and autonomous work style.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher or 8 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years project management experience, in a construction environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with rapid prioritization.
• Management level communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Excellent computer skills including MS Office, MS Project, etc.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget.
• Lead project team and technical disciplines through project schedule and required deliverables.
• Daily tracking of project costs and end of project reconciliation
• Coordinate with finance group on accounts payable, receivable, and invoicing
• Coordinate with legal regarding contract terms and conditions
• Review and interpret customer specifications and contract requirements
• Manage customer and internal documentation
• Coordinate material and purchasing requirements and approve vendor selections
• Main customer & internal interface point for projects
• Coordinate Field Service Technicians’ deployment to jobsites and meeting customer needs/expectations.
