Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Field Services Manager for Defense & Offshore to lead and optimize field service operations in mission-critical environments. You will shape service strategy, drive data-driven improvements, and ensure safe, compliant, profitable project delivery.

You will collaborate with Field Ops, Program Management, Sales, and IT to align maintenance with contracts and milestones, while advancing ServiceMax adoption and capacity planning across global operations.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of service management experience in Defense, Offshore, or Maritime sectors.
• 2+ years leading teams of 50+ in remote or high-press environments.
• 2+ years operating as a leader within a matrixed organization across Service, Sales, Finance, Legal.
• 5+ years in Sales & Operations Planning or resource capacity management in a service-intensive environment.
• 5+ years of experience with ServiceMax or similar FSM tools; IB data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic leadership and business partnership within the Defense & Offshore leadership team.
• Oversee end-to-end field service execution including I&C, warranty, and interventions.
• Serve as internal bridge between field operations, program management, regional leadership, and digital/IT teams.
• Enforce safety protocols and compliance for offshore environments.
• Manage field service engineers, ensuring certification and training for offshore/defense work.
• Lead capacity planning (S&OP) to balance resources with the sales pipeline.
• Partner with ITO and Sales to lead tendering for I&C proposals and protect margins.
• Advocate for ServiceMax and drive data accuracy for installed base assets.
