Job summary

Electronic Power Design is seeking a Field Services Engineer to install, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical power distribution systems at customer sites across the United States and internationally.

This role emphasizes traveling to sites, solving complex electrical challenges, and delivering exceptional customer service while supporting ongoing projects and field engineering initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• 0–2 years of engineering experience; internships and co-op welcomed.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical power distribution systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving switchboards, motor control centers, generators, PLCs, VFDs, protective relays, breakers, and automation systems.
• Analyze system performance and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability and minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and engineering documentation.
