Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Field Service Engineer for the Electrification Automation (EA) Business Unit. This remote role is based in the Houston, TX area with up to 80% travel nationwide to install, test, commission, and start up LV and MV equipment.

Required 4+ years of equipment experience, knowledge of power distribution systems, and a valid driver’s license. The position supports Siemens USA and may involve Greenfield & Brownfield installations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of directly related equipment experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of power distribution systems.
• Experience with low and medium voltage switchgear.
• Experience in troubleshooting & repair of electrical control circuits.
• Must be available for emergency and relief assignments.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 21.

Responsibilities

• Installation, testing, commissioning, and start-up of LV and MV equipment.
• Troubleshooting, maintenance, training, and consulting.
• Travel up to 80% - national depending on site locations.
