Job summary

GE HealthCare in the Eastern North Carolina area is seeking a Field Engineer to perform preventive maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on medical equipment across Anesthesia, Diagnostic Cardiology, and Maternal Infant Care modalities.

This role supports hospital systems in Fayetteville/Goldsboro/Greenville with remote work options and relocation, offering a competitive annual salary between $60,000 and $90,000 plus comprehensive benefits and incentives.

Qualifications

• Must have Associate/Bachelor in engineering or equivalent; military education or GE internship acceptable.
• Experience with web applications and Microsoft Office.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and able to pass background/drug checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on GE HealthCare equipment.
• Assist more experienced field engineers with installations and repairs.
• Communicate effectively with customers to ensure resolution and follow-up.
