Job summary

BRAINS WORKGROUP, INC. is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Level II) to support patient monitoring, anesthesia, and ultrasound systems.

The role involves installations, inspections, repairs, and software updates, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The FSR II will act as the frontline technical expert, maintaining relationships with customers while supporting service contracts and collaborating with sales and clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior field service or hospital biomedical engineering experience is desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for medical devices are required.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, inspect, and perform preventive maintenance on medical systems.
• Configure system software and networks supporting company products.
• Provide timely on-site or remote technical support to customers and teams.
• Document all service activities per quality and administrative standards.
• Manage service contracts including renewals, quotations, and new agreements.
