Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics seeks a Field Service Engineer to service Beckman Coulter equipment across the Washington DC metro area, with remote work and territory coverage including Richmond, VA, Virginia Beach, VA, and surrounding areas. You will perform troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventive maintenance and upgrades as deemed by technical staff.

You’ll train peers and maintain service logs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent military experience in technical/biomedical engineering or related field.
• 1+ year experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, or instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventive maintenance, modifications and service repair on Beckman Coulter equipment.
• Maintain accurate service logs, order parts, and use systems like OBI, Salesforce and SharePoint for planning and tracking.
• Coordinate with internal/external customers and mentor junior field service engineers.
