Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide expert service across the Chesapeake Service District, covering Washington, DC, Baltimore, MD, Hagerstown, MD, and Virginia Beach. You will troubleshoot, install, validate, and maintain Beckman Coulter systems while ensuring customer satisfaction.

The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent military experience, and 1+ year of hardware service experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent military experience required.
• 1+ year of experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventive maintenance, modifications and service repairs on Beckman Coulter equipment; provide excellent service and training to customers.
• Maintain accurate service logs and internal records; order repair parts and adhere to cycle times using systems like OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint.
• Communicate with internal and external customers, addressing their needs and mentoring newer Field Service Engineers.
