Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide service, maintenance and repair of Beckman Coulter equipment across the Chesapeake DC/Baltimore/Hagerstown and Virginia Beach region. You will travel up to 50% with occasional overnight stays and must reside in the territory or relocate accordingly.

The role requires an associate degree in a technical field (or equivalent military experience) and 1+ year of hands-on diagnostics and repair experience.

Qualifications

Associate degree in a technical, biomedical engineering, instrumentation, electrical engineering or related field or equivalent military experience.
1+ year of experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment or instrumentation.

Responsibilities

Complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventive maintenance, and service repairs on Beckman Coulter equipment.
Maintain accurate service logs and order replacement parts, using systems like OBI, SalesForce and SharePoint.
Communicate with internal and external customers and assist with training of newer Field Service Engineers.
