Job summary

Molecular Devices, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver exceptional customer experiences with strong communication and problem-solving skills. The role is fully remote in the Chicago area, supporting customers across the greater Northwest US states.

The position requires an associate degree with 2+ years of field service or a bachelor’s in engineering/biology, plus travel up to 60%.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with 2+ years of Field Service experience or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Biology or related degree or equivalent military experience.
• Advanced troubleshooting, problem-solving and repair skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills utilized in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage customer accounts, while building and fostering positive and professional relationships with both external and internal customers
• Propose process improvements that improve internal and external customer processes
• Manage a diverse technical product portfolio
