Job summary

Anguil Environmental Systems is seeking a Field Service Engineer II to perform field service tasks for air pollution control, energy recovery, and water treatment systems. This role includes system startup, troubleshooting, and testing at customer sites, with direct customer interaction and mentoring of junior staff.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of field service experience, be comfortable with traveling up to 75%, and hold a technical degree in engineering technology or related field,

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Electrical/Mechanical/Automation/Chemical Eng. (or related)
• Three to five years field service, commissioning, or industrial environment experience
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 75% including overnights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist commissioning and startup of systems across industries
• Perform system checkout, panel testing, loop checks, calibration, and testing
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
• Read and mark up electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and P&IDs
• Provide professional customer-facing technical support in-person and remotely
• Complete service documentation (punch lists, field reports, redlines)
• Coordinate with Engineering/PM to resolve field issues
• Mentor junior Field Service Engineers in safety/techniques
• Participate in job readiness meetings and shop testing
• Adhere to site safety requirements and Anguil policies
