Job summary

CECO Environmental Corporation is seeking a Field Service Specialist to perform site and factory testing, startup and commissioning of emissions and combustion systems worldwide. You will inspect, install, and troubleshoot instruments, calibrate DCS logic, and ensure equipment meets project specifications.

Located to support customers across the globe; travel may be required; strong safety knowledge and ability to work with field teams.

Qualifications

• Technical training in Electrical and a High School diploma are required.
• 5+ years’ experience as Field Services Specialist or similar role preferred.
• Experience with process instrumentation, control systems, and FATs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform site or factory testing to verify instruments are installed and working.
• Lead equipment start-up, ensuring power, controls, and connections are operable.
• Coordinate with plant personnel to commission equipment and achieve emission targets.
• Inspect equipment and troubleshoot issues with field service, engineering, and customers.
• Prepare field reports, timesheets, expense reports, and customer signatures.
• Provide training on safe operation and operation of equipment to trainees.
