Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Field Engineer II to perform preventive maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on XR/CT/NM equipment within hospitals across southern IL and MO. The role is remote with relocation assistance and travel to sites as needed.

You will service imaging equipment, maintain regulatory compliance, document all work, and build strong customer relationships. A 6+ year background in electrical equipment and 2+ years imaging service, plus a valid driver’s license,

Qualifications

  • Associates degree, Bachelor's degree, military education or High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment
  • 2+ years of experience servicing Imaging equipment
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and no visa sponsorship
  • Background checks and compliance with customer access policies including immunizations and drug tests

  • Perform timely and accurate preventative maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting on medical equipment within a hospital or healthcare system to ensure optimal delivery of healthcare services to patients.

Basic Qualifications
  • Associates degree, Bachelor’s degree, military education or High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment
  • 2+ years of experience servicing Imaging equipment
  • Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted and frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch or squat, kneel or crawl, sit and stand for long periods of time. Must also be able to reach at, above and below shoulder level, flex or extend neck and have good hand and finger dexterity.
  • Ability to be available after-hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends.

We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $74,160.00-$111,240.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
