Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair mass spectrometers, HPLC, and capillary electrophoresis instruments at internal and external sites, including strategic accounts. This role reports to the District Service Manager and covers Phoenix, Arizona.

You will work independently, mentor junior staff and travel up to 50% domestically with eligible remote work arrangements. A competitive hourly pay range applies with bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years LCMS and/or capillary electrophoresis experience; prior experience servicing mass spectrometry or scientific instrumentation.
• Meet Vendor Credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain mass spectrometers, HPLC and/or capillary electrophoresis instrumentation.
• Perform qualification services and customer training; ensure customer satisfaction at strategic accounts.
• Complete administration duties like logging service activities and inventory.
