Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a Field Service Engineer for the San Francisco Bay Area with remote work options. You will service Hematology and Urinalysis platforms, troubleshoot, install, and perform preventive maintenance while maintaining logs and parts ordering.

Travel within the territory and training responsibilities are included. The role requires at least 1 year of equipment repair experience, a valid driver's license, and a background in biomed/engineering is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year of diagnosing and repairing mechanical/electromechanical equipment; valid driver's license and MVR.
• Ability to travel within territory; lift up to 50 lb; travel readiness.
• Plus: 2+ years advanced troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, service repair; technical background in biomed/engineering.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, perform preventive maintenance and repair Beckman Coulter equipment, delivering quality service.
• Maintain accurate service logs, order parts, and adhere to turnaround times.
• Plan service calls using OBI, Salesforce and SharePoint to support team goals.
• Train newer Field Service Engineers and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
