Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher company, is hiring a Field Service Engineer to support diagnostics equipment from Houston, TX with remote coverage across southeast Texas. You will troubleshoot, install, validate, perform preventive maintenance, and service repairs, while keeping detailed logs and training peers as needed.

Opportunity to work with the Service Organization using OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering or related) or equivalent military experience or High School diploma with 3 years of experience.
• 1-year experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, validate, perform preventive maintenance, modifications, and service repair on Beckman Coulter equipment with high-quality customer service and training.
• Maintain accurate customer service logs, order repair parts, and use systems like OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for planning and performance tracking.
• Communicate with internal and external customers and assist with training of newer Field Service Engineers.
