Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, part of Danaher, is hiring a Field Service Engineer for the Daytona, FL area with remote work options. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, installation, and preventative maintenance of Beckman Coulter equipment, plus customer training and parts management.

The role requires an Associate degree (or equivalent), 1 year of diagnostic/repair experience, and a valid driver’s license with travel. Physical lifting of up to 50 lbs is needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, military experience, or equivalent experience.
• 1 year experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation.
• Hold a current valid driver’s license and good driving record; ability to travel and overnight travel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform related physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, perform preventative maintenance, and service repair on Beckman Coulter equipment, including training customers.
• Maintain service logs, order parts, and use systems such as OBI, Salesforce and SharePoint for planning and progress.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders and help train newer Field Service Engineers.
