Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, part of Danaher, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service Beckman Coulter systems remotely from home-based in the Daytona, FL area. You will troubleshoot, install and maintain equipment, travel to customer sites as needed, and train junior staff.

Qualifications

• Essential requirements include an Associate’s degree, Military experience or equivalent, and 1-year diagnosing/repairing mechanical or electronic equipment.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and ability to travel, including overnight travel.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to train others and engage with stakeholders on service goals.
• Prior experience with Beckman Coulter equipment or similar instrumentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work independently to troubleshoot, install, perform preventive maintenance, and service Beckman Coulter equipment.
• Maintain accurate service logs and utilize systems like OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for planning.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders and assist in training Field Service Engineers.
