Job summary

Honeywell International Inc. seeks a QCS Advanced Field Service Engineer to support on-site installation, servicing and repair processes for complex equipment in a remote-capable role for the Charlotte, NC area.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 7–10 years of progressive experience, with expertise in Honeywell and ABB sheet scanners, electrical schematics, P&IDs, VMware, and Cisco networking.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Technology, or a related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Five (5) years involving Honeywell Sheet Manufacturing Scanners troubleshooting/maintenance.
Three (3) years involving ABB Sheet Manufacturing Scanners; Producing and reading electrical schematics, network diagrams, and P&IDs; VMware Virtualization and Cisco Networking; System software installation and configuration; and Application software configuration.

Responsibilities

Provide technical presentations to customers, industry peers and competitors.
Promote revision and correction of work instructions and customer-facing training guides used by field installation specialists.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in field services and product development processes.
Promote cross-functional collaboration to resolve administrative delivery and installation issues.
Act as an escalation point for Field Service Specialists, Service Engineers, and other stakeholders.
