Job summary
Honeywell International Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a QCS Advanced Field Service Engineer to support on-site installation, servicing and repair of complex equipment and systems from a remote work model.
The role emphasizes technical leadership in field service delivery and collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate has a engineering degree with multiple years of field service experience, including experience with Honeywell and ABB scanners, electrical schematics, and networked system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering/related) with 7+ years post-baccalaureate experience or 10+ years in the field.
- Experience must include five years troubleshooting and maintaining Honeywell Sheet Manufacturing Scanners.
- Experience must include three years with ABB Sheet Manufacturing Scanners, schematics, networks and P&IDs, and system/app software configuration.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical presentations to customers, peers and competitors.
- Promote revision of work instructions and customer-facing training guides for field installers.
- Drive continuous improvement in field service processes and product development.
- Coordinate cross-functional groups to resolve delivery and installation issues.
- Act as escalation point for Field Service Specialists, Service Engineers and stakeholders.
