Job summary

Veeam Software is seeking a Field Security Advisor to develop and deliver content, tabletop exercises, and training for enterprise customers. You will work with Customer Success and Field CISO to prepare Global 2000 teams for cyber extortion incidents and resiliency.

This fully distributed, remote role requires overlap with customer time zones and periodic on-site travel. As an individual contributor reporting to the Senior Director, Field CISO, you will deliver readiness engagements, curate

Qualifications

• 7+ years in information security/cybersecurity with depth in IR/DFIR or security operations
• 3+ years in customer-facing advisory roles supporting enterprise customers
• Foundational knowledge of application, identity, cloud and network security concepts
• Experience presenting to enterprise leadership and facilitating workshops
• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly in writing and speech
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and events

Responsibilities

• Deliver cyber extortion readiness engagements for enterprise customers including executive briefings and workshops
• Design and facilitate tabletop exercises reflecting realistic extortion scenarios
• Curate and improve customer-facing content aligned to ransomware/extortion patterns
• Conduct research and forensic data analysis to support advisory deliverables
• Support the customer lifecycle including due diligence, RFPs, and security exhibits reviews
• Collaborate with case management, SMEs, and stakeholders to ground guidance in real-world incident behavior
