Job summary

US Signal is seeking a Field CISO to provide fractional cybersecurity leadership for our customers. You will sit at the intersection of sales and delivery, shaping security roadmaps and leading executive-level briefings across SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS, CMMC, NIST CSF, and ISO 27001.

You’ll translate risk into business terms, guide compliance programs, and ensure client retention by delivering measurable security outcomes. Travel to client sites as needed with hybrid/remote options.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity strategy, governance, risk, and compliance with cloud, network, and application security.
• Proven experience leading security assessments, compliance reviews, and audit readiness initiatives across SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS, CMMC, NIST, and ISO 27001.

Responsibilities

• Win trust before contract signing; join discovery calls as security expert and shape the right solution.
• Lead advisory engagements; build roadmaps, guide boards, and align IT leaders and compliance programs (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS, CMMC, NIST CSF, ISO 27001).
• Translate technical risk into business language for executives and boards and advise on cyber insurance needs.
• Shape advisory delivery and positioning of SOC/MDR and managed security services.
• Execute customer advisory engagements to measurably improve security posture.
