Job summary

Veeam invites an experienced Field Security Advisor to join its Cyber Readiness and Advisory Services team as a remote, globally distributed professional. You will lead cyber extortion readiness engagements for Global 2000 customers, deliver executive briefings, and facilitate practice-focused workshops across diverse teams.

You will design exercises, curate content, and translate forensic findings into actionable recommendations, collaborating with customer success and field CISO stakeholders

Qualifications

• 7+ years in information security/cybersecurity with depth in IR/DFIR, security operations or advisory work.
• 3+ years of customer-facing experience supporting enterprise customers in advisory or readiness services.
• Foundational knowledge of application, identity, cloud, and network security concepts in Global 2000 environments.
• Experience presenting to enterprise leadership and facilitating workshops and tabletop exercises.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cyber extortion readiness engagements for retained enterprise customers, including executive briefings and technical workshops.
• Design and facilitate tabletop exercises reflecting realistic extortion scenarios and executive decision points.
• Curate and continuously improve customer-facing content, playbooks, readiness checklists, and workshop materials.
• Support advisory deliverables with research and forensic data analysis and translate findings into actionable readiness recommendations.
• Assist with customer due diligence, RFPs/RFIs, and review of contracts/security exhibits with internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with case management, SMEs, and other teams to ground guidance in real-world incident behavior.
