Job summary

Veeam is seeking a Field Security Advisor to join our Cyber Readiness & Advisory Services. This remote, globally distributed role focuses on helping Global 2000 customers prepare executive, technical, finance, legal, and operational teams for cyber extortion incidents and resiliency enhancements.

You will deliver engaging content, tabletop exercises, and trainings while collaborating with Customer Success and Field CISO teams to ensure practical, evidence-based guidance across time zones.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of information security/cybersecurity experience with depth in one or more areas (IR/DFIR, security ops, advisory).
• 3+ years of customer-facing experience supporting B2B enterprise customers in advisory or readiness services.
• Foundational knowledge of application, identity, cloud and network security concepts, ideally in Global 2000 environments.
• Demonstrated experience presenting to enterprise leadership and facilitating workshops/tabletop exercises.
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to deliver executive-ready, evidence-based deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cyber extortion readiness engagements for enterprise customers, including executive briefings and workshops.
• Design and facilitate tabletop exercises reflecting ransomware/extortion scenarios and executive decision points.
• Curate and improve customer-facing content like playbooks, checklists, and workshop materials.
• Perform research and forensic data analysis to support deliverables and insights.
• Support the customer lifecycle with due diligence, RFP/RFI responses, and review of security exhibits.
• Collaborate with case management, SMEs, and stakeholders to ensure guidance reflects real-world incident behavior.
