Job summary

Stäubli seeks a Field Sales Engineer for the Fluid Connectors Division to support sales in the Midwest from Indianapolis, with remote work options. This role combines technical sales with customer-facing engagements across chem/pharma, alternative fuels, motorsports, and general industrial sectors.

You will collaborate with the Fluid Connector Division Sales, Product Management, and Sales Admin teams, maintain CRM records, and develop a weekly plan with field visits and virtual meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of technical sales experience.
• Customer-based project management experience.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Currently resides in the Midwest, preferably MI, but will consider candidates from OH or IN.

Responsibilities

• Develop a weekly call plan targeting quotes, ongoing projects, leads, and key accounts.
• Organize plans using Outlook Calendar and maintain visibility and structure.
• Spend 3–4 days per week in the field with 1–2 days in a home office for follow-up and planning.
• Prospect for new business opportunities with persistent follow-ups.
• Record detailed call reports and prospecting notes in the CRM system.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all customer interactions and sales activities.
• Implement the company's sales strategy in day-to-day activity.
• Submit weekly expense reports and monthly project reports per guidelines.
• Stay informed about industry trends and customer needs.
• Attend mandatory sales/training meetings and events.
