Job summary
ASSA ABLOY is seeking a Field Sales Applications Engineer to serve as the technical bridge between our access control solutions and integrators, consultants, and end users. This remote role requires residing in the Northeastern US with travel up to 50% to support pilots, deployments, and field trials.

Qualifications
- 3–7+ years of sales engineering or applications engineering experience in security systems.
- Strong understanding of access control components: credentials, readers, controllers, and software.
- Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, PoE, VLANs) and system integration.
- Experience working with systems integrators, security consultants, and enterprise end users.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver product demonstrations and design consultations to integrators and consultants.
- Support specification development with A&E firms to position ASSA ABLOY solutions.
- Assist with system architecture design including readers, controllers, and software.
- Provide hands-on support for field evaluations, pilots, and troubleshooting.
- Train channel partners to improve installation quality and adoption.
- Collaborate with product management, support, and engineering to resolve issues.
