Job summary

Inspire Medical Systems is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to join our team. In this provider-facing role, you will optimize patient access by navigating Medicare and commercial payers, building strong relationships with providers and sites of service, and coordinating with internal reimbursement and field sales teams.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in reimbursement, knowledge of implantable medical devices, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, science or healthcare administration.
• 7+ years of reimbursement/market access experience with complex payer claims (Medicare and commercial).
• Knowledge in coding, coverage, and payment for implantable medical devices.
• Experience engaging with HCPs across multiple sites of service and in education settings.
• Excellent communication and in-person/virtual presentation skills.
• Ability to travel regularly up to 25%.
• Implantable medical device experience (preferred).
• Neurology products experience (preferred).
• Coding certification (CPC, COC) (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Be subject matter expert on coding, coverage, and payment for Medicare and commercial payers and impact patient access.
• Explain reimbursement education, support, and resources to customers at multiple sites of service.
• Navigate and address account and patient access issues with internal and external stakeholders.
• Respond to requests for site visits, program reviews, and reimbursement needs.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships through reimbursement engagement and cross-functional partnerships.
• Execute access and reimbursement priorities with partners to align support for key accounts.
• Develop reimbursement presentations for site visits and trainings.
• Monitor CMS and payer market dynamics and industry trends.
