Job summary

Amgen in the United States is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to lead defined accounts in a specified geographic region for Patient Access and Reimbursement. You will execute the territory plan and support reimbursement processes from provider engagement to prior authorization.

The role requires strong payer knowledge, leadership, and excellent communication. Travel up to 60-80% is expected; remote/hybrid work options are available, and base salary ranges between $145,471 and $196,813 per

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of customer service/leadership experience OR Bachelor’s with 5+ years of customer service/leadership experience OR Associate’s degree with 10+ years of experience
• Experience directly managing people and/or leadership roles in projects or teams
• Minimum two years in public/private third-party access arena or pharmaceutical industry
• Strong medical reimbursement experience and/or specialty pharmacy knowledge
• Proven presentation and facilitation skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Organizational skills and project management experience
• Experience with hubs, billing, coding and appeals in healthcare

Responsibilities

• Manage defined accounts within a geographic region for Patient Access and Reimbursement
• Execute the territory strategic plan and ensure understanding of reimbursement processes
• Support payer prior authorization, appeals/denials requirements and forms
• Educate healthcare providers on payer coverage and changes
• Collaborate with HUB and other departments to resolve reimbursement issues
• Provide information on benefits and funding options to offices
