Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager for a field-based role covering Cincinnati and Dayton, OH. The FRM educates healthcare providers on coverage and reimbursement, collaborates with the field team, and resolves access issues to support patient treatment adoption.

You will work with PECS and other departments, travel up to 50%, and contribute to payer policy insights while upholding ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business/public administration; MBA/MPH preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Accounts management and/or reimbursement experience in provider offices.
• Reimbursement or managed care experience (revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, coding, appeals).
• Ability to build relationships, collaborate and influence across a matrix organization.
• Strong problem-solving to navigate access scenarios and provide solutions.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills; patient support HUB experience preferred.
• Valid US driver’s license with compliant driving record.
• Able to travel up to 50%.
• Permanent residence in the listed territory.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on product coverage, prior authorizations, reimbursements, coding and billing.
• Collaborate with field support team and serve as reimbursement expert for local team.
• Address critical access and affordability issues for patients.
• Partner with managed care colleagues on policies and changes.
• Conduct field-based reimbursement and access support and education.
• Build trusted relationships with customers in assigned Immunology accounts.
• Manage territory logistics, routing and business planning.
• Maintain knowledge of market dynamics and payer environments.
• Collaborate with internal J&J departments on education and insights across payer types.
• Execute business with high ethical, legal, and compliance standards.
