Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to educate offices on reimbursement processes, support benefit investigation, prior authorizations, and claims. The role requires traveling to provider offices, conducting trainings, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve patient reimbursement challenges.

The FRM will interact with physicians, office staff, and manufacturer reps, delivering education and ensuring accurate information on Medicare and commercial plans.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of healthcare related reimbursement experience.
• Business experience – strong medical reimbursement experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy.
• Experience supporting oncology products preferred.
• Must have Medicare and commercial insurance coverage experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and on-demand education for office staff regarding reimbursement challenges and available support services.
• Educate on Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization, and Medicare/Commercial coverage.
• Manage 15 on-site/virtual interactions per week and track activities in CRM daily.
• Collaborate with case managers on escalations and support centers for reimbursement.
• Travel to target offices and maintain provider/manufacturer communications.
