Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Field Claims Specialist II, Property to investigate and resolve moderate to severe property damage claims. This role involves phone and face-to-face interactions, travel to policy locations, and occasional overnight work.

CAT duties are required and relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of property claims experience, strong Xactimate skills, and a solid customer-service background.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of property claims experience or adjusting work.
• State licensing where required for claims handling.
• Xactimate Level 1 certification within 12 months of start date.
• Xactimate Level 2 certification within two years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve moderate to severe property damage claims by phone and in person.
• Open, close, and adjust reserves per policies to ensure reserve adequacy.
• Maintain knowledge of insurance products, guidelines, and policy changes.
