Placements24 is seeking a Remote Field Operations Manager to oversee dispersed field technicians and optimize service delivery for a national telecom infrastructure client. You will lead remote teams, define KPIs, ensure safety, and drive efficiency using data analytics.

This role requires strategic planning, budget oversight, and collaboration with engineering, customer support, and project management to maintain SLAs and cost-effective operations across wide geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in field operations management in telecom/utilities.
• Experience managing remote teams and distributed workforces.
• Strong understanding of field service management software and CRM systems.
• Proven ability to develop and implement operational strategies and process improvements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
• Experience with budget management and financial oversight of operations.
• Familiarity with telecom infrastructure deployment and maintenance is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for field operations to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Manage and lead geographically dispersed teams of field technicians and supervisors.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for field operations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Optimize resource allocation, scheduling, and logistics for field service activities.
• Implement and manage remote monitoring systems for field operations performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve productivity.
• Collaborate with other departments, including network engineering, customer support, and project management.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and development for team members.
